It’s been a while since we started The Edit (10 years, in fact). We’ve had career changes, traveled, questioned ourselves, had meltdowns, had babies, had fun, etc. We tried the blog thing, the online magazine thing, and social media, and it just got overwhelming while juggling said life changes. But we can’t seem to shake wanting to share more about the people, places and stories from this side of paradise. So here we are again. Thanks for coming along with us!

We stayed here years ago when it was a St. Regis (#workperks), but now we’re dying to return for the 1 Hotels vibe. And, it’s heavenly Hanalei… There IS a special rate for residents, but you’ll have to call to get the details.

  • In case you missed it, Meleana Estes’s home was featured in Domino over the summer. It’s a true 1,000-square-foot Diamond Head dream. We live for home tours (we published some a few years back) and would die to launch a site featuring home tours from around the islands. Who’s into that? Email us—force our hand!
