This & That, March Edition

Special events, openings and reopenings, inspiring entrepreneurs & more.

Aloha friend,

We hope you survived and thrived Spring Break! Kids kept us busy, and two of us are still in Maui and L.A, so we’ll keep it short and sweet. Continue reading for things you should know and events you’ll want to attend.

Have fun,
The Edit Hawaii team

  • The team behind Mahina just opened a new concept store in Haleiwa called Roger. We are equally obsessed with the offerings (all things aloha) and the space. The interiors were executed by our friends at House of Honolulu. The 70s Hawaii vibe came to life thanks, in part, to their sourcing at vintage shops like Tin Can Mailman and The Consignment Center.

  • Hawaii Business came out with the 2025 Hawaii Entrepreneur Awards and reading the article is a nice break from the doom and gloom happening around the world. Learn more about inspiring people doing amazing things in support of these islands, the planet, its people here.

  • After losing the Front Street location in the Lahaina fires, the beloved Italian restaurant Sale Pepe just reopened in Emerald Plaza in Lahaina. It was also announced that they will opened in the village center at Kapalua Resort in 2026.

  • The Pig & The Lady just released a new lunch menu that has us drooling.

  • If you’re itching to learn a new skill and just do something different, Fishschool has so many fun upcoming classes and workshops like making lei vases, or incense burners with Tamiko Claire Stonewear.
