To Watch
Shōgun, created by Maui couple Rachel Kondo and Justin Marks, has won a record 18 Emmys and four Golden Globes and is nominated for 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards. The FX Series is streaming on Hulu. We haven’t seen it yet, but it’s now on our list after learning about its accolades on Hawaii Public Radio!

To Book
Maui Bees is hosting a Farm To Table Dinner at its Upcountry farm on most Fridays from March through June. You can also have a private dinner for up to 12 guests for a special occasion. Expect stunning views of Kahoolawe, Lana’i, and the West Maui mountains and a menu created and prepared by Chef James Martinez based on what is available in the gardens. DREAMY.

To Eat
Carbs! Of the sweet and savory variety. Because the much anticipated Mille Fête is now open in Honolulu’s Chinatown. The bakery is a collaboration between James Beard Award-winning chef Robynne Maii (of Fête fame), her husband Chuck Bussler, and dessert darling Katherine Yang. Learn more here.
