YOU SHOULD KNOW: JENN & PARKER FROM EROIX UNDERNEATHWEAR
Jenn and Parker Ellenburg are the Co-Founders of EROIX Underneathwear, and we should all thank them for upping the men's underwear game. The husband and wife team—Jenn from Kailua, Oahu, and Parker, Boulder, Colorado—are explorers through and through. However, their latest adventure is more than alpinism and surfing, it includes raising their son Brooks and changing the way people feel about men's underwear. Two totally different tasks, each rather exciting if you ask me.
"We started talking to people about men's underwear and nobody had much to say. Our philosophy is if you wear something so often, you should love it and be enthusiastic about it," says Jenn. "We've always wanted to be involved in the fashion industry and we wanted to make an entrance with something unique. Men's underwear seemed to be an afterthought when it came to fashion. We wanted to change that."
Oh, and Jenn added that she also wanted to see Parker in his underwear and be wowed. Do you blame her?

LOCAL FAVORITES
Olive and Oliver in Kailua. The owners, Ali and Parker (same name, different guy), have curated such great shops. They've got impeccable taste and have discovered a terrifically broad range of products from clothing to home accessories.
The Pig and the Lady at the Thursday night Kailua Farmer's Market. We haven't found better Vietnamese food, and not for lack of trying!
Toro at Surf Garage is our surf hero. He is exceptionally knowledgable and adept at explaining board and fin design—every board in his shop looks beautiful and rides beautifully.
The Local in Kailua is a great place to hang out and we appreciate their use of natural fruit syrups. Best shave ice on the island, for sure.
When we venture up to the North Shore, Beet Box Cafe and Pupukea Grill are our go-tos. Healthy, affordable, and delicious.
IDEAL STAYCATION
Camping at Kualoa Beach Park on Oahu. It's where we got married and where our son, Brooks, first swam in the ocean. With the backdrop of the Ko'olau Mountains, it's so peaceful and beautiful. A great place to recharge.
THE BEST DAYS ARE SPENT...
In the water, preferably surfing.
BEST BEACH
Being raised in Kailua, I'm definitely biased to the east side. Lanikai's picturesque setting is undeniable. It can get overcrowded these days, but you can catch it midday on a weekday and it's pretty special.
CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT
Mangoes. I don't know how we survive nine months without them.
WE SHOULD KNOW
Kristen Hook: In and out of the water she's an artist with the camera.
Jennifer Binney of Samudra: her kindness and creativity are boundless.
We've been appreciating Kamohai at Aloha Beach Club. He has a terrific eye for photography and style, and a smile for us every time we see him.
WHY HAWAII?
Jenn: There's no place like home.
Parker: Hawaii offers me (typically an alpinist) a connection to the ocean that's stronger than anywhere else I've ever been.
